Steve and Dawn's welcome awaits you at The Merginn – a Quality Guest House which is clean, cosy, non-smoking and family run with our own FREE CAR PARK or FREE PICK UP AND DROP OFF FROM LOCAL RAILWAY OR BUS STATION. The Merginn is situated in the North Shore area of Blackpool where you will find it quieter and more relaxing, yet still within easy reach of all Blackpool’s many attractions. Buses and trams stop each end of the Avenue. Gynn Avenue is a lovely quiet street close to the Gynn and Jubilee Gardens. We are only a 2 minute walk to the promenade, and just a mile back into town and the Tower. The Pleasure Beach is approximately 3 miles away. All our rooms are newly refurbished for 2008 and have digital tv, hospitality trays complete with tea, coffee and real CHOCOLATE BISCUITS !!! We cater mainly for Families, Couples and Seniors. There is a two night minimum stay on Bank Holidays, school holidays and during the illuminations, however will do1 night during the winter period. I must stress due recent experience we will not take any stags or hens if booked we will cancel, we have freeview TV in all our rooms . bar/diner has been fully refurbished in jan 09 which is now extremely spacious. we have a pool table and games machine.
we are small family run clean hotel with home from home cooking and yes real chips and a great front room fully equiped bar with with fosters larger and stronbow cider on draught,all though we have now only been running for 20 months we are clean friendly and love to have children here, we do have a small play area for the kids while mums and dads can have a quiet drink at the bar please do give us a try we also serve tea and coffee free to all our customers weather in the room or down stairs in the bar area we hope you will join us here at the mayfield hotel Ian jay and jamie 
We are a Nationally Accredited AA 3-Star family run Seafront hotel with great views out over the beach and Irish sea. Why come to Blackpool and then choose not stay on the Seafront? We are on the Seafront in the ideal position for everything that Blackpool has to offer including the Illuminations, the Tower, Piers, Winter Gardens and Pleasure Beach. All of our rooms are en-suite with Fresh Linen/Toiletries, Tea/Coffee making facilities, and Television. ##(INFORMATION TO READ FIRST )##(PARKING) - Due to our Location we regret that we cannot provide parking of our own at the hotel, however the Main Car Park for Blackpool (Lonsdale Car Park) is nearby and there is also Promenade Pay and Display parking often available 100 yards from the front of the hotel.
